Platelet Rich Plasma

Platelet Rich Plasma or PRP uses your own natural properties of your blood releasing growth factors into the surrounding tissues to stimulate increasing blood supply, collagen and elastin products. Producing a natural younger, healthier fresher skin. Were simply using what mother nature provided us with: your own healthy cells re-injected back into the target area to produce new cells.

Commonly known as the vampire lift the autologous PRP therapy uses a small sample of your own blood to harvest the platelet rich plasma. Whilst you wait your blood sample is spun in a centrifuge to collect the platelet rich plasma. This will be activated and re-injected into the target areas.

The therapy is ideal to plump skin, smooth out fine lines and wrinkles, and give an overall more fresh and glowing anti-ageing appearance.

What areas can be treated with PRP?

Face: particularly around the eyes, mouth and jowls.
Body: particularly the décolletage and backs of the hands
Fine Lines and wrinkles
Dark Circles Under Eyes
Stretch Marks

A protocol of 3 to 5 sessions is required for optimal results. The treatment can be used as a stand alone treatment this often preferred by patients who desire only natural treatment and wish to avoid botox or fillers. However, the results can be further optimised when PRP is combined with any of our other treatments, such as Obagi® Nu-Derm and Dermaroller.
